Q:4. How important is memory in your poems?

I would find it quite hard to write a poem without writing about a memory that the subject brought back to me, even if the subject was something recent. So many poems I have written have been about things that happened many years ago.  As I said before, the things I have recently experienced I may not write about for a long time to come
