Alan Morrison is author of twelve poetry collections, most recently: Anxious Corporals (Smokestack, 2021), Wolves Come Grovelling (Culture Matters, 2023), Rag Argonauts (Caparison, 2024). Poems and monographs in over 80 journals including The Fortnightly Review, The London Magazine, Long Poem Magazine, The Morning Star. He co-edited the award-winning Out of Gaza: New Palestinian Poetry (Smokestack, 2024). He was a winner of the Bread & Roses Poetry Prize 2018, and highly commended in the inaugural Shelley Memorial Poetry Prize 2022. He is founding editor of The Recusant and Militant Thistles webzines.
